The week sure went by quick. I had a lot more planned but didn't have the energy to do it. My hands are still sore from woodcarving, and so I've had to lay off the knitting and crocheting. I'm looking forward to the weekend. My daughter may visit. We'll see.

Moss and Sage knitted hat

Made on four needles.

The day got away from me.

I was really jonesing to start a new hat today. I even went to Joanne's Superstore and picked up some black tulle for the hat band. But by the time I got done with the dentist, shopping, banking, and lunch, I just didn't have the energy. My cold is almost gone but I still don't have the energy I did before I got sick. Patience I suppose.
And I totally forgot today was Fat Tuesday. It would have been so totally cool to make a Mardi Gras hat. Oh well, maybe next year.

HEXAGON HAT

I had an idea for a new hat. I'm going to take one of my knitted hexagons and use it for the top. Then I need to make the side of the hat in a pillbox shape.

the Hat Matters

When I worked for the Hat Matters, I got this felt hat. The owner then stretched it and steamed it on a hat block so it would fit me right. Then I decorated it with feathers and jewels.
